It is one of our favourite annual events. In fact, it is one of our most unmissable events: Fitur, the huge international tourism fair arrives to Madrid on 17th January and lasts until the 21st for its 2018 edition. This means that the Garden Hotels team will be packing our bags and heading towards the capital to present all our new additions for this upcoming season.
Taking advantage of the fact that FITUR welcomes all the heavyweights of the national and international tourism industry, we’ll be going with a suitcase full of good news as we are going to present all the latest advances and improvements taking place at our hotels in Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza, Almeria and Huelva. We will also talk about all our social and environmental commitments, reinforcing our promise to continue looking after the surroundings of our hotels and will also give you a little preview of what the 2018 season will be like, coming to you in just a month’s time.
However, in addition to the multiple ideas, offers and holiday proposals you will find at our #FITUR2018 stand, we have decided to offer something truly special, different and authentic from Majorca this year.
For this, we have invited one of our favourite partners, AMADIP – Esment, an entity that is more like part of the Garden Hotels family. This is a non-profit organisation that works to improve the quality of life and increase the number of opportunities for persons with intellectual disabilities in Majorca. This entity is an example for us, to help us reflect on our continuing efforts to help the society that has welcomed us.
Made in Majorca
This organisation will be the prime focus of one of the main events taking place at our showcase at the fair. There will be a large sampling of homemade products from the famous Forn Pes de Sa Palla restaurant, made from local ingredients and grown and prepared by members of the AMADIP. This is a unique opportunity to discover the delicious Majorcan cuisine and get a better understanding of the work everyone does at AMADIP Esment.
For many years, Garden Hotels has been working on corporate social responsibility to shed light on the work and talent of local unities who aim to offer opportunities to people who are faced with more difficulties in life. Our goal is that our work helps improve the quality of life of local communities.
Our commitment is to continue down this road and so, with this in mind, we thought that presenting this at an event as big as Fitur would be a great opportunity to help spread awareness. We’ll be waiting for all of you at stand 8A02 at IFEMA in Madrid!
Thank you for helping us on a day-to-day basis; thank you for always putting your faith in Garden Hotels.
